Comments: This puro from the La Aurora factory in the Dominican Republic is a well made, medium bodied stick with an attractive, slightly toothy wrapper and an earthy bouquet. Upon lighting the cigar I was treated to an excellent draw producing great volumes of smoke and a flavor of earth and cedar with a hint of spice that built to a satisfying, but not overpowering crescendo. The ash was a bit fragile, and a medium gray in color. I did not find this smoke to be as complex as some other reviewers have, but it was a fine smoke nonetheless.
History: (From Perelman's Pocket Cyclopedia of Cigars, 2006) Not Listed. Handmade in the Dominican Republic.
